Assigned’s founder, Evan Urquhart, is an award winning trans journalist whose work has appeared on the Atlantic, Vanity Fair, Politico, NewNowNext, Truthout, Autostraddle, and Slate. In 2025 he was a fellow at the Knight Science Journalism program at MIT.
Our first duty is to the truth, measured not by whether we provide false balance but by how well we inform our audience.
