Spain’s Socialist Parliamentary Group submitted a bill last month that would elevate the punishment for practicing conversion therapy, and it was approved and sent to the senate just last week.

On Monday, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear vetoed a bill that would repeal his 2024 ban on conversion therapy. Unfortunately, his veto is likely to be overturned by a Republican supermajority.

After declining to hear a case on conversion therapy in 2023, the Supreme Court has decided to hear an identical one starting in October.
